Luke Warden

Loved son of Darlene & David

Luke’s “Celebration of Life Service” was held on Friday March 23rd, 2012 at 11:00am, Great Northern Garden of Remembrance, Tallowwood Drive Deception Bay.

Luke Mitchell Warden or as you may know him – Boogie, Turtle or Goofy was one of a kind. He was dearly loved by his family, friends and all whose lives he touched.

Luke was the guy that everybody liked – the guy who helped everyone no matter what. The nice guy, the caring guy, the funny guy – The guy we could all count on to be there.

Growing up, Luke was the annoying brother an only child dreamt about. From not knowing how to use the microwave to “I’m hungry” and “What’s my D.O.B.” we always got a laugh whenever he was around.

Luke was the daredevil, the rebel; the first to do the craziest things that life could throw his way. Whether it be skydiving or doing an “accidental front flip” on his pushy he was never scared of doing the things he loved.

He was the guy who would chase you down the street with a shovel or garden pick if you were disrespectful to his family or friends – True story.

Luke was the guy who didn’t go to work or school if he didn’t see fit, we always thought he was lazy, but now we realize Luke knew that life was too short to spend doing things that didn’t make him happy and for that we are glad.

Our Son, brother, cousin, nephew and mate was taken far too soon and had a lifetime left to live. He will never ever be forgotten and will always be in our hearts regardless of when or where we are.

Rest In Peace…….
